FREE6G-Security will introduce mechanisms that guarantee privacy and security in multi-tenancy environments, targeting both end users and tenants. Thus, application providers and end users can maintain control over their data when relying on shared infrastructures, without sacrificing on functionality. FREE6G-Security mechanisms and policies will provide trustworthiness and resiliency against security failures or breaches, thus guaranteeing data and computation integrity, while at the same time, generating privacy preserving data representations. The developed security policies will incorporate the requirements of the different stakeholders, contextual information, trust assumptions, and relevant legislation. At the same time, FREE6G-Security will define techniques for protecting sensitive/private information without affecting the way it is accessed/used. Moreover, FREE6G-Security aims to develop blockchain-based solutions that will foster collaboration between tenants via smart contracts, supporting the flexible negotiation of Network Slice contracts, without the need for a centralized, trusted entity. Finally, FREE6G-Security will employ federated learning solutions with blockchain technologies to provide system-level security in 6G server-less architectures.
The specific technical objectives of FREE6G-Security are:

Objective 1: Policy-driven security, privacy, and trust in multi-tenant infrastructures.
i) Optimal fragmentation and allocation strategies in multi-tenant infrastructures, guaranteeing perpetual data security from rogue tenants;
ii) Federated learning solutions with blockchain technologies to provide system-level security in 6G server-less architectures;
iii) A joint policy-driven framework offering privacy and integrity guarantees for computations operating on obfuscated / anonymized data.
iv) ML fusion algorithms based on representation learning to automatically identify malicious flows via learned common properties.

- Objective 2: Showcase a key FREE6G-Security solution. Showcase via simulation/emulation/deployment a blockchain-based Smart Contract platform, for decentralized Network Slicing transactions in multi-tenant infrastructures. R&D topics: Showcase blockchain-based Smart Contract platform, for decentralized Network Slicing transactions in multi-tenant infrastructures which will guarantee that privacy and security mechanisms provide slice isolation and ensure collaboration between participants in multi-tenant 6G infrastructures without assuming trust.

Objective 3: Dissemination and exploitation of FREE6G-Security.
i) Dissemination to relevant industrial and academic communities.
ii) Dissemination of results at nation-wide related initiatives.
iii) Communication outreach to all stakeholders including the general public.
iv) Contributions to top-tier conferences and journals; v) explore generation of intellectual property.
